A question about a TM30. Does the property owner need to do one of these every 90 days, or do I just use the original one and take along with me and do my own reports ? I have only ever done a TM 47, but renting somewhere in a different place for a while

A TM30 must be filed no later then 24 business hours after you arrive at a location. It is not connected to the 90 day reports.

Ahh, OK. So when I do my 90 days report, do I need to take the TM30 or not ?

depends on your local immigration office but may require you to show TM30 receipt.
