I not thai citizen but wife and daughter they are thai citizen we plan to go back to Thailand at 2nd of November coordinator by Thailand embassy here in Malaysia they ask us to buy the tickets flight and for non thai have to book ASQ in this situation they will let wife stay with me in same from or same hotel free under government payment or will separate us

Thank you for your comments 🙂

Answer summary

A non-Thai citizen can stay in the same ASQ hotel with his Thai wife but they both need to pay for the hotel, as the government facilities are generally separate for non-Thais and Thais. However, some hotels do offer discounts for Thai nationals and there are options to stay together if an ASQ is booked for all parties involved.

You can't stay in the free sq if you are not Thai. Your wife can stay with you in asq but you both must pay for it.

Because maybe you want the most luxury hotel, and then expect Thai government to pay the same for your wife.

because SQ is separate for Thai people only and run by the military. ASQ is run by each individual hotel and hospital, totally different.

We have been finding that a lot of hotels will let you stay together and a lot are giving discounts up to 20%
