Hi !!!!

Does anyone know if the one day quarantine test and go requires husband and wife to book separate rooms in the relevant qualifying hotel for one night or can they share the same room?

Thanks for feedback in advance

TLDR : Answer Summary
In the context of the one-day quarantine for the Test and Go program in Thailand, it is generally acceptable for married couples to share the same room at a qualifying hotel. However, guests may need to provide a marriage certificate and possibly individual SHABA/AQ certificates, so it's recommended to confirm with the hotel beforehand. Regulations can vary, and experiences from past guests suggest that while sharing has been allowed, some hotels may enforce stricter rules.

Hmmm - I just booked our room at the Holiday Inn Express Bangkok Sukhumvit 11 for my husband and I and no one mentioned 2 rooms. Looks like we'll have 2 separate beds tho 🤷‍♀️

They will want to see a copy of the marriage certificate.

when I did ASQ they didn't need to see anything. They did ask you to sign a waiver saying that they warned against the risks of sharing blah blah blah

some new hotels now might stick to the rules. In 2020 they were very strict about it.

Married couples can share a room

Sharing should be fine. You'll likely need a SHABA/AQ cert for each person, but it can be under the same booking (make sure to clarify with your accommodation)

I’m sure there is an option to share a room
