TLDR : Answer Summary
The original post refers to a '50-day visa bounce,' which likely indicates confusion around visa terminology. There is no specific '50-day visa' in Thailand; the user might be discussing either a 30-day visa-exempt entry or a 60-day tourist visa. Both of these can be extended once for an additional 30 days at the immigration office for a fee of 1900 baht. Comments also highlight the importance of avoiding the Poipet border crossing for those considering border bounces.

Okay, obviously a mis-type and possibly bad terminology too.

There is no 50 day visa and you can't get a visa by 'bouncing' so the O/P has to be talking about either a free visa exempt entry for 30 days OR entering from a real tourist visa for 60 days.

It doesn't really matter which one they're talking about ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

Because EITHER entry can be extended ONE time for 30 days for 1900 baht at the immigration office.

IF you want to do a BORDER BOUNCE by land border crossing... AVOID POIPET BORDER CROSSING for ENTRIES.
