TLDR : Answer Summary
There is no official 'retirement visa' in Thailand; instead, options include the Non Immigrant O visa and Non Immigrant OA visa for individuals over 50. Applicants must have THB 800,000 in a Thai bank account for three months or a monthly income of at least THB 65,000. It's recommended to check the specific requirements on the website of the nearest Thai embassy or immigration office. Also, when applying, some forms may require a Thai address and flight information, which can be left blank if not applicable.

To make it clear: There is NO such thing as a retirement visa. So there are NO requirements for this visa. How nice it all is to call different visa's and an Extension of stay all based on being over 50 years of age and willing to sit out the rest of your life in Thailand, just retirement (save lot of typing I just found out) and yes I know, even Immigration Officers making it easy for them selves and say retirement, in stead of: being over 50 years of age and willing to sit out the rest of your life in Thailand. There is a link posted about the three main types of Visa which are called retirement. Make a choice out of these three, look at the website of a Thai Consulate in your area what the requirements are, if you are in Thailand, depending on Immigration Office and your current stay you can change into the Non Immigrant O visa based on being over 50 years of age etc. Or if you already have this visa you can apply at Immigration for the Extension of Stay based on being over 50 years of age etc. If you have any questions about a specific visa or the Extension of Stay, feel free to open a new topic and we will help you. For now I close this topic.

Bob Safe just leave it blank, they won't care, as they know. If you look at the top of the application form, there are other visa that can be applied with the same form. Those who wish to apply for a tourist visa need proof of accomodation, the "adress in TH"-box is for them

It's not called a retirement visa. If you look in the visa section of the website you'll find it; O-A.
