Hi everyone. For applying DTV, I have to prove that bank account has 500,000 baht. Can part of it be in a fixed deposit account? Or does all of it have to be in a savings (current) account? Thank you🙏🏻

TLDR : Answer Summary
To meet the 500,000 baht requirement for the DTV visa application, the funds must be in an immediately accessible checking or savings account. Fixed deposit accounts are generally not acceptable as they do not provide direct access to the funds.

It has to be in a checking / savings account where you have direct access to it. Not investment account of any kind

It has to be in an immediately accessible bank account. Normally that rules out fixed deposit accounts
