TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion focuses on whether a Flexible Cash ISA can serve as proof of savings for a Thai DTV visa application. Most comments suggest that embassies prefer conventional bank accounts for demonstrating liquid funds, and that withdrawing the necessary amount to meet Thai financial requirements before applying could be a prudent approach. Additionally, checking directly with the Thai Embassy is recommended for specific advice.

I suggest you ask the Thai Embassy in the UK your question about the Flexible ISA account...

I was not familiar with it... so I did a Google and it appears to be CASH which can be withdrawn on demand by you... with a limit of 20,000 British pounds a year.

To be safe... Why not withdraw the amounts needed for the 500,000 Thai baht requirement... apply for the DTV visa... and after the DTV visa is approved, redeposit the 500,000 Thai baht back into the Flexible ISA account ????
