TLDR : Answer Summary
The conversation discusses the requirements for applying for a Thai visa, particularly the DTV visa while having funds in fixed deposit accounts. Key points include the necessity of showing at least 500,000 Baht in a single accessible savings account, the importance of providing recent bank statements, and the overall need for demonstrating financial stability. Many commenters express that funds must be readily available for emergencies and that having an inactive company may complicate the application process. The discussion emphasizes clear documentation and understanding of the consulate's expectations.

There’s a way better way I just found 650,000 and they give you 5 years solid nothing to prove at all it’s just a visa you buy .

You appear to be applying under the workation category yet for an inactive company? How are you going to show income both to your company and to you? Money in fixed term deposits is generally not acceptable, it needs to be in accounts in your name with immediate access. You can have multiple accounts

The money has to be readily available, so f.ex. you can immidiately pay a hospital if you get involved in a accident.

Make everything as simple as possibel, 1 account with 500.000 + Baht.

What is obvious for you, may look complicated for the Embassy staff.

problem is they decline if the amount was under 500k at anytime in last 3 months. Thez say not financial stability. You can afford Dubai but not get Thai visa. Irony of life

You should not have applyed until you can fullfill the requrements, now you may loose your 10.000 baht visafee, and wait some months before you apply again.

probably not. They want to see you have funds that you can access and technically use while in Thailand. My understanding is you wouldn’t be able to access funds in a fixed deposit account, nullifying the rational for why they want you to have those funds

They need ALL your bank statements showing ALL financial movements in the accounts for the last 3 months , minimum balance of 500k. Written permission to work in Thailand for the company, proof that the company exists and is trading.

They want to see 500k in one savings account. It sounds like you sent different files and believe they will add the totals up. They won’t do that.

If your balance was bellow 500k only 1 baht in past 3 months you are not show financial stability got exactly the same in Dubai.
