TLDR : Answer Summary
The inquiry addresses whether submitting a savings account statement showing $19,000 (approximately 500,000 THB) without transactions over the last three months is sufficient for a Thai visa application. Community responses indicate that requirements may vary by embassy, with some preferring evidence of recent account activity. Personal experiences shared suggest that while a stagnant account may suffice in some cases, providing alternative statements can enhance the application.
My bank on does saving account statements quarterly. So when I applied, I I had to wait an extra 3 months so I could send whole statements. And since there was no movement, the statement was very vague. I had to supply all my ither accounts as well even though my savings alone qualified for the 500k baht
Dependant on embassy they sometimes want to see movement.
We used Vientiane and Hanoi with an account with minimal transaction and then 10k aus of deductions right before applications (still over funds for 2 people) and didnt have issues,l though.
