Hi. I am from the Philippines. I worked here in Thailand legally. But my sister in law don’t have work since she is working online for their Family Business as marketing officer. She is in Thailand just to relax and enjoy life together with us. She already did visa runs( exit and go back) twice. She will then need to exit next month. My question above is for her if she can still go back here in Thailand this year or has to be next year.

Better get tourist visa. In my case I didn’t know that 2x a year can use the land exit so i was denied by the immigration in sadao. So had to go back to malaysia and have my appeal of innocence of the law/policy since I’m a solo traveler. So i had 48hrs to appeal and lucky visa approved and i was given 2mos. Thank you Lord❤️

The problem for her will be on entry as they will wonder how she supports herself and think she may be working. Its illegal to work inside Thailand, even for a company outside Thailand, without a work permit which she won't have so can't mention that. All she can do is try and see what happens, she should have a flight out, 20,000 baht in cash and an accommodation booking.

If she go back to PH she can come back again and will be given the 30 day visa on arrival plus 1 month extension (1900 bht). Another option is fly out to any country for a day then come back. She will be given 30 days visa upon arrival and extend again 30 days.

Nah.. We Filipinos knows our options.. of course it is best to apply for a regular visa but she is not really working here.. the post is asking for options..After the fly in and out, another option is apply for 2 months visa in Laos..extendable to 1 month immig office.

Yes po. If from Ph she come again as long as you have hotel and return tickets... if you fly out of Th you can do this around 3 to 4 times but be sure to keep a bank statement for the nth time... Th immig might ask for it when you fly in.... my friend husband always visit her 3 to 5 times a year.Reymart **************************

You can only do 2 land border entry per year but no rule for entry by air if does another visa run by land probably will be denied and sent home must remember every time you enter thailand it is up to the IO infront of you on the day if he or she is kind and let's you in

yes but must remember if her entries to Thailand are very close she maybe asked question because if they the IO believes you are trying to stay in the country long term and not be a tourist than she maybe denied entry just because there is no regulation or rules for entry by air does not guarantee you entry maybe for her she should get correct visa as some comments have suggested it is just respectful to not abuse other countries standards Chokh diReply to
