Hello!

I need to do a border run in Vientiane (from Chiang Mai) but I have entered the country 3 times already and not sure if they let me in again. Im from Estonia so I have the Visa-Exemption when entering on tourism purposes.

First entry: 2022 29.08 from Tallinn to Thailand by plane with free entry, extended for 30 days.

Second entry: 2023 17.01 from Vietnam by plane, extended for 30 days. (stayed in Vietnam about 3 weeks)

Third entry: 2023 29.01 by land, extended for 30 days. (stayed in Cambodia 2 nights)

What you guys think? Im allowed back with free entry by land again?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user seeks advice on re-entering Thailand from Laos via a border run after having already entered the country three times on a visa exemption. They received suggestions indicating that they are generally allowed one more entry by land under the visa exemption, but they might face extra questioning due to their prolonged stay. Recommendations include using a border run service and informing them of the user's entry history.

You are allowed one more entry by land without a visa in 2023. But you've been in Thailand so long you run the risk of extra questioning and possible denied entry. Better to do as James says and use a company.

As you are eligible for Visa Exempt Entry into Thailand, suggest you ask an experienced border run service company to take you to the Thai border crossing and return the same day. The Mae Sai border crossing is OPEN.. as is the border crossing in Laos nearest to Chiang Mai.

Be sure to tell the border run service company your passport nation and recent history of entries into Thailand

They will know what you need to do and help you. There are several in Chiang Mai. Ask on a Chiang Mai Expats forum on Facebook or simply Google "border run from Chiang Mai "
