I am scheduled to do a land border run with a visa service at 7am tomorrow, from CM to Laos... I just realized I have already done 2 land border runs!
Is this a strict rule now? Will they stop me from re-entering Thailand?
I assume the only other option is to fly out of the country, get a visa processed at a Thai embassy and come back?
I got a 45 day tourist visa and I extended it, my extension expires on May 2nd.
Any insights would be greatly appreciated. 🙏

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user is concerned about their ability to re-enter Thailand after realizing they have already completed two land border runs in 2023. They are scheduled for another run but are unsure if this violates immigration rules. Comments suggest that if two land border runs have already been made, further entries by land may be denied, and flying out and back in or obtaining a visa from a nearby country like Laos or Cambodia might be necessary. The discussion emphasizes the importance of correct terminology regarding visa types and possible restrictions on repeated land entries.
Do another land border run, you will be arrested and deported, even if you have a visa and some kind of excuse to be doing a third land border run. Changing border locations will not help.
You better get a visa, you've already got here for 150days and done border bounce twice. Even if you fly out and in, you might not be allowed to get in the country or get a lot of questions about the purpose to be in thailand which is clearly not just for tourism..
Just to clear up terminology. You didn’t get a 45 day tourist visa. You got a visa exempt stamp. You have no visa. Just a stamp.
If you’ve done two visa exempt entries by a land border already this year you cannot do another. Depending on the border they will either not let you leave (and tell you must use another border or fly out) or they’ll let you out but will tell you you have to enter by air.
Your border run service should have checked all this beforehand.
