Looking for some urgent advice as I'm booking my tickets tonight. I'm dual American/Thai. I am booking all my flights with US passport as I'm going to Europe. I know I can exit and re-enter Thailand using my Thai passport but on exiting will they need my boarding pass and my Thai passport and check that I booked with US passport? Can they tell? Please help me and thank you in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A dual citizen traveling from Thailand can exit the country using their Thai passport, even if their flight is booked under their US passport. The Thai immigration authorities may check that the traveler has a valid US visa when departing, but as long as the Thai passport is presented correctly, there shouldn't be any significant issues. Travelers are advised to carry both passports when departing to avoid complications.
Ok so I forgot that I've traveled to Korea and Hong Kong and Vietnam 2x and Cambodia once in the past 2 years. I meant I haven't used my US passport in 4yrs.
What I said is that if she only shows her US passport with no visa stamp and she's been staying here for 4 years, immigration would consider her an overstayer. She'll need to exit Thailand with the same passport she entered with
You entered Thailand with a Thai passport, okay, so you leave Thailand with your Thai passport, If they ask for Visa you show your US passport. On entrance in Europe of US you show your US passport. On return the same. Out with US passport on request of Visa show your Thai passport and enter Thailand with Thai passport.
If you entered Thailand with your Thai passport, you need to exit with it, if you exit with your US passport, you have been overstaying for 4 years 😉
I haven't left the country in 4yrs so I'm a bit nervous. And at that time I had entered and exited with US passport (I was supposed to visit here for 3mos), but entered with my Thai passport.
