Hello everyone, what documents I need while flying to Thailand.

Do I need to have flight proofing leaving Thailand after 30 days or 60??

( what kind of flight I can book? Can it be like random the cheapest to another country ?)

Because ideally I want to apply for extension and stay there 3 months if is possible

But in the Thailand pass doc. I need to put info when I leave Thailand.

What you recomend me to do ??

Thank you

TLDR : Answer Summary
To fly to Thailand, you need to prepare several documents, including a visa if you intend to stay for an extended period. You can apply for a 60-day visa, which you can then extend for another 30 days at immigration, totaling potentially 90 days. Although it is common practice to have a proof of onward flight, some travelers have experienced that airlines do not uniformly enforce this requirement. It is advisable to book an onward ticket, even if it is a dummy ticket, to comply with potential checks at the airport. Reviews mention that using services to create an onward ticket can be a solution. Be prepared, as some airlines might request proof of your travel plans.

Yes you will need a ticket to match your visa.

Biggest problem is usually the airlines sometimes they stop you sometines they dont.

You can buy an onward ticket to anywhere.

Added your post to onwardflight topics you can find details in previous posts about dummy tickets etc

Hi Michael and Angieszka, I agree 100% that not always to the Boarding Agents ask and on all my 8+ years of travelling to Thailand was only previously asked twice for an onward ticket, but I was explained that going forward from this pandemic, the airlines have been informed to ask.... As luck would have it, on my 3rd leg of my booking last December, the Hong Kong Agent did ask and went as far as double checking on her computer to see if my booking was legit. So it is definitely good to be prepared. having said this, I read about this on World Nomad prior to my coming to Thailand and the positive reviews got me confident to try them out. Hope this helps.

You want to stay 90 days, get a 60 day visa before you come to Thailand then extend it at immigration the cost is 1900baht
