Hi, I’ve applied for the DTV visa (London embassy) and they’ve asked for an updated employment confirmation letter. My company is fully remote and HR signed the letter.
Is that usually enough, or should I also provide my manager’s contact details? Has anyone had their employer contacted by the embassy?
Thanks In advance!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user has applied for a DTV visa through the London embassy and is seeking advice on whether an updated employment confirmation letter is sufficient or if they should also include their manager’s contact information. Comments suggest that providing a statement confirming the ability to work remotely in Thailand is important, and past applicants have indicated that their employers were contacted by the embassy.
I was approved in London 5 days ago. The company wrote a letter to the embassy saying they’re happy for me to work in Thailand and I can work remotely etc. I also included freelance contract/job description/companies house letter ☺️
