Answer summary
The discussion centers around the requirement of tax information for the Digital Nomad Visa (DTV) application in Thailand. Most comments suggest that Thai immigration or the Royal Thai Embassy should not be requesting tax documents during the application as these are typically unnecessary. Users advised caution regarding the broker's claims about the requirement of tax documents and recommended managing the application process personally or switching brokers to avoid potential scams.

The only login information is to the e-visa website. That would have been created by the agent before the application was submitted, otherwise you can't even submit an application. The agent has that information, not immigration. Immigration is not even involved in visas, that's the embassy. The embassy doesn't give any login information.
My tax documents were requested before he paid the embassy. That’s why I’m thinking it’s very fishy and he sent me a screenshot showing the embassy is asking for this information. Meanwhile, I did not even have an login information yet from the embassy
Anonymous participant the embassy can't ask for anything if an application hasn't been submitted. That's how you start the process. Everything is done through the e-visa system. You create your own login, the embassy doesn't give anything
Thai immigration - or rather the Royal Thai Embassy, have nothing to do with tax payments in Thailand as part of DTV application. Suggest you change your broker, or do the online application yourself.
No but if you are applying for a DTV you may have to upload your latest tax return to show money you are earning from online working is getting assessed for tax where you submit your tax return.
Thai immigration have nothing to do with an application for a DTV, applications for these visas are handled by staff at consulates under the MFA (Ministry of Foreign Affairs)
