TLDR : Answer Summary
Yes, Korean citizens can extend their 30-day visa exemption by one additional 30-day period at an immigration office for 1900 baht. It’s important to check the visa stamp; if it shows 'ผ', a 30-day extension is possible, while 'ผผ' allows only a 7-day extension.

ATTENTION, I was totally WRONG. I just spoke to a korean friend of mine and was told;

When the program went from 90 day entry to 30 day entry for Koreans they also allowed them to get one 30 day extension as well at the immigration office for 1900 baht

SO the answer is YES Koreans who enter on a 30 day stamp can get ONE 30 day extension at their immigration office

Post a picture of your stamp. Does it say ผ

Or

ผผ?

If it says ผ

You can get a 30 day extension of stay based on tourism

If it says

ผผ

You can only get a 7 day extension of stay denied stamp
