Can I use downloaded e-statements for the financial requirement of my DTV visa application in Thailand?

Hello Everyone,

I have a query regarding the financial document requirement for DTV the application.

I currently maintain funds exceeding 500,000 THB equivalent, spread across four savings bank accounts. The balances have been maintained for more than six months.

I would like to know whether it is acceptable to upload e-statements downloaded directly from internet banking for all four accounts, or if it is mandatory to obtain statements that are signed and stamped by the respective banks.

I would appreciate guidance from those who have recently applied.

Thank you.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The inquiry revolves around the financial documentation needed for the DTV visa application, specifically whether e-statements from internet banking are acceptable as proof of funds or if certified bank statements are required. Respondents generally indicate that e-statements are permissible as long as they display necessary details (name and address) and cover the last six months. It's advised to check the specific requirements of the New Delhi consulate as they may vary, including the possibility of requiring point-by-point organization of bank statements for clarity.

When you are attaching 4 bank statements, ensure that you make a summary slide in tabular format which explains the account-wise monthly balance across accounts.

Hello! Yes, you can. Cover letter and presentation will be important.

Example:

********************************************

I insist that you research the group a little more for more such successful cases.

The requirements for your case might be slightly different but since limited information is available, I have shared above link only as an example.

Month-wise. Use e-statements which are available as PDF downloads.

Organise and mark for easier understanding. While providing detailed statements, organise as in this YouTube video -
************************************************

Use ILovepdf website for organising and compressing PDF files.

Also, Delhi requires 3 months statements which will be specified once you start filling in the form but before submission (unless the requirements have changed recently). Also, money needs to be liquid and in savings account while FDs can be attached to show extra financial stability but they do not cover eligibility.

Remember the application isn't about just providing the documents and presuming that they'll be understood. Presentation matters and ensure you make it easy for understanding.

πŸ‘‹ Hi. It shows my name and address. And is it okay to have the required amount spread across 4 savings bank accounts instead of just 1?

e-statment is ok ONLY if its monthly proper statement and not just current balance, but be ready to provide bank statement with stamp if requested.

Generally yes you can use the downloaded statements but you better search requirements of the particular consulate that you intend on applying through.
