Does anyone know if it’s accepted for the DTV visa when the required 500,000 THB are held in a business account – provided I can prove with documents (e.g. business registration, shareholder proof, accountant’s letter) that I am the 100% owner and have full access to the funds?
Or does the balance strictly need to be shown in a personal account under my name?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The consensus among community members is that for the DTV (Digital Nomad Visa) in Thailand, the required 500,000 THB must be held in a personal account under the applicant's name. The funds need to be accessible immediately and must have been in the account for at least six months prior to applying. While there may be exceptions as noted by one commenter regarding acceptance of alternative financial options, the general rule is to maintain the funds in a personal account.
99% of the time just personal account with your name on but there are guys who got accepted with crypto and other financial options. I'd suggest to phone or mail the embassy you intend to apply at then ask them whatever they'd accept your business account or not.
