I have a DTV visa. When I applied I had 500,000 Baht in my personal account. Now I have a company in Hong Kong and I keep the money there. Will the company's bank statement be accepted for visa extension?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The local Thai Immigration office will not accept a company's bank statement for a DTV visa extension. It is advised to have a personal account with a minimum balance of 500,000 Baht for at least 30 days before applying. Many users suggest doing a border bounce instead of attempting an extension, as in-country extensions can be risky and complicated.
It is possible for those who meet the initial application requirements. Many expats on other visas face stricter yearly requirements. The issue is that many people can only maintain these temporarily for the duration of the application process.
Extensions are not "Close to impossible". There are guidelines of what is required and people just doing them. A few have posted success but it is more likely that those refused have posted. They clearly did not meet the guidelines.
The COMPANY bank account statement will NOT π« be accepted by the local Thai Immigration office for the DTV extension of stay. Do yourself a Big favor... just do a BORDER BOUNCE to get the DTV visa 180 day extension.
In country extension? I wouldn't risk it, because anything that can go wrong will go wrong with an in country extension. The account you're showing should be in your name and the balance of a minimum of 500k for 30 days before you apply. Just bounce.
