I have been reading the posts on here for some time and had my non-o based on retirement all planned out. Now there is a fly in the ointment!
I am a dual citizen of UK/Aus. Resident in Aus for 19 years and have always used my Aus passport to enter the Kingdom. I was going to move as soon as my visa was granted having applied via e-visa to Canberra embassy. It now looks like I need to go to UK shortly after I retire albeit for only a few weeks. My question is if I am granted the non o in Aus and then travel to the UK returning to Thailand will this be ok?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is a dual citizen of the UK and Australia, currently residing in Australia. They have applied for a Non-O Retirement Visa and are concerned about traveling to the UK shortly after visa approval. Community members affirm that it is acceptable to enter and leave the UK on a UK passport and to enter Thailand on an Australian passport. They also note that a re-entry permit is often needed to maintain the validity of the visa when traveling.

No lecture but thats a lot of flying and Id advise taking an aspirin before flying 4+ hours
I ended up with DVT in 2015, nearly died as the Thai hospitals didnt know what was wrong and ended up flying back to England where I was diagnosed. Doctors said I should have died on the flight back to the UK
Had PE's since as well which nearly killed me whilst teaching in Lopburi!
Wish someone would have warned me about this simple option.
