Hello,

I have a Non O Visa based on retirement.

I am currently in the UK and Iโ€™m returning next month.

Iโ€™ll return to Thailand the next Month for 6-7 months.

My passport expires in July next year.

1. Can I renew my ๐Ÿ‡ฌ๐Ÿ‡ง passport in the UK before I come back and in October and not have any problems with my visa being in my old passport?

Is there anything I must do?

I thought it would be easier to get a new passport in the UK.

Thanks in advance.

Thank you, but how to get a new UK passport is not a rally Thai visa question. I believe that OP got enough information anyway.

I did this exact thing at HMPO in London last December, as has been said travel with both passports and all is good, just make sure the Passport office realises the importance of returning your old passport swiftly as well. I fast tracked my new passport and had to chase them for my old one as they send them to you separately.

Go to immigration on arrival and just transfer the stamp. Should be free
