TLDR : Answer Summary
The best option for a 60-year-old British national wanting to travel to Thailand for three months and return to the UK for one month is to apply for a Non-Immigrant Type O-A (Long Stay) visa. This visa can be obtained from the Thai consulate in London and allows for unlimited entries over one year with a simple start upon arrival. Required documentation includes a police background check, medical certificate, proof of health insurance, and proof of funds.

The simple answer to this plan would be to get a year-long, multi-entry Non-Immigrant Type O-A (Long Stay) visa from the thai consulate in London BEFORE you wing your way here.

You need a police background check, a medical certificate, proof of health insurance, and proof of funds. The visa is good for a year from the date it's issued, it is good for unlimited entries for that year, and every entry gets you stamped in for a whole year.

here's the link to it on the Thai consulate in London;

and before more people start to tell you that wet puppy eyes are helping to get entry in Thailand, I close it down.

Please this page is for advice, not to tell people life is a gamble and take the risk to get stopped, put in jail until you paid for flight back home. If you have any questions about a type of visa feel free to open a new topic.

Simply your plan is not going to work. Get the correct visa for Thailand as suggested.

Good luck.

Single Entry Tourist Visa 60 days + extension 30 days. Back home and same again. Can perhaps do only two times in an year without immigration questions.

That won't work forever; Eventually immigration would pull him aside and may reject entry

Without no more information such as Benjamin stated, and current circumstances regarding Tourist visa/visa exemption, only one visa which makes you do that way without any problem might be Thailand Elite and this is not on Embassy web site.

But if you could provide more information, members here can give you much more decent advice.

There's a couple of ways to do it, but we need more information:

1. Whats's your nationality?

2. Are you older than 50?

3. Why are you doing this exactly (i.e because you're working here, or because of another reason)?

You come to work in Thailand?

You are married with a Thai National?

You have children with Thai Nationality?

Are you above 50 years of age?

Do you come for tourism purpose?

Do you come to volunteer?

Do you come to study?

Do you come to relax as retirement person?

And I can go on, visit the website of the Thai Embassy in London and find a visa that fits your purpose of visit to Thailand.
