Thank you for admitting me to your group. I have a uk passport and I have been a resident of Australia for 50 years. I have been to Thailand many times in the last 3 years staying in Koh samui for one month and returning back to Melbourne for one month. In the last visit to Bangkok airport the immigration officer looks at my multiple entry's to Thailand and hands me over to his supervisor who was very polite and he just said you need a new passport. I was under the impression you could fly back home and come to Thailand without any drama l am currently in Melbourne now is it worth while going to the Thailand embassy in Melbourne to find out what visa would be available . I have a Thai girlfriend in samui for the last 3 years.

There is no official limit in using the Visa Exempt Entry by air. But after having many of them Immigration Officers start asking questions. If you can provide proof of income abroad, money in hand and accommodation it should not be a big problem. For Visa you can apply for the multiple entry Non Immigrant O visa based on retirement and use this visa for 1 year or the multiple entry Tourist Visa which is 6 months valid.

Non O on retirement - for example or ED Visa if you like to learn Thai, Muay Thai or cooking .... you might also go for a METV - multy entry tourist visa.
