TLDR : Answer Summary
A traveler on an Australian passport, whose retirement visa will expire during a trip to the UK with a Thai wife, is inquiring about the possibility of applying for a marriage visa upon returning to Thailand. They mention having visited the local immigration office, where they received advice to consult the Thai embassy in London regarding visa options. Comments suggest applying for a NON-O visa from a Thai embassy or local immigration office in Thailand, ensuring all requirements and proof of funds are provided.
