Last time I checked, you had to fly directly into Phuket from outside the country, you couldn’t fly in via BKK, even if you didn’t get off the plane. Our Qatar flight was just cancelled, and now ALL flights are going through BKK!! We already have a pre-paid ALQ hotel with no refund in Phuket.... So does anyone know if the policy has changed and we can now go through BKK? TIA!!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is seeking clarification on whether it is now permissible to transit through Bangkok to reach their pre-paid hotel in Phuket for ASQ (Alternative State Quarantine) as all flights to Phuket from Qatar have been canceled, forcing them to fly into Bangkok. Comments indicate that transit through Bangkok is currently not allowed for ASQ, with one commenter expressing sympathy and another mentioning the flight resumption timeline.
flight was originally booked for Dec 13, direct from Doha to Phuket on Qatar. That one has been canceled and now it looks like the only one within 2 weeks is on Dec 18
yeh should never have been advertised. Not enough People want to quarantine in Phuket due to the inflated prices so I can see a lot of international flight being cancelled.
👍👍 yeh think they got released after I’d booked mine tbh. For the sake of a £20 internal flight down to Phuket I decided to goto Bangkok to quarantine for this very reason of flights being cancelled. Can you definitely not get your money back?
