Can I transfer my ED visa stamp at my local immigration office in Tak after getting a new passport?

Hi, I got a new passport, and need to transfer my visa stamp (ED).

I had to pick it up in Bangkok. Can I wait until I travel back to my home province Tak and do it at local immigration.

Or do I have to do in Bangkok?

Also, is the only thing I need to bring the letter, HMPO gave me?

Thanks

TLDR : Answer Summary
You can transfer your ED visa stamp at the local immigration office in Tak rather than in Bangkok. Just ensure to bring both your old and new passports, the letter from HMPO, and your TM6 departure card. Note that only extensions are transferred, not the visa itself.

, I think IF you read the stamp in your passport it might say "Extension of stay permitted until"

Bangkok immigration office wouldn’t transfer your stamp that was issued at another immigration office.

You need to bring Old and new passports, the letter from embassy(or your hmpo), and TM6 departure card.

You can do it at the Immgration Office where you got the ED stamp. You may need copies of your old passport and new passport.
