Can I submit my TM30 report at a police station or post it to the immigration office if I live in a rural area?

Hello, I'm going to be staying at my partner's home. I understand I need report TM30. However the closest immigration office is quite a trek, since it's a rural area. I've read some stories of it being ok to bring documents to a police station or even post the documents to the closest immigration office. Can I confirm either of these? Thank you

TLDR : Answer Summary
You cannot submit a TM30 report at a police station for your stay in Thailand. It is necessary to contact the local immigration office to check if they allow TM30 submissions by post, as not all offices accept this method. Currently, the online filing system is down, so communication with your local immigration office is essential.

Despite what you've read (and what's published about filing a TM30 it can't be done at the police station.

You'll need to call the immigration office in that area to see if they allow TM30 by post at that location. Not all do.

IF the online program was up and running your partner could register to use the system and then file online for you BUT it's been down since Feb 18th.

Call the office that serves the area where you will be staying and talk to them .
