Has anyone gotten approved without a summary? I applied for the Workcation visa on Monday, 2/2. I had a summary drafted but didn't upload it before clicking "submit." I mistakenly assumed there would be an upload area for a summary/cover letter, but onlly realized after clicking "submit" that I should have added it as an addition to my PDFs.
My savings well exceed the 500k Baht requirement and I included my work contract as well. However, it's for an online teaching role that I've hardly made any money from, so my bank statements don't show payments from it. I ultimately planned to live off of my savings/investments and the teaching job is just for supplemental income.
Has anyone had success without a cover letter? So far my application is still pending document review and I've received no additional info requests.

TLDR : Answer Summary
A user applied for the Workcation visa but mistakenly did not upload a summary or cover letter before submitting their application. They are concerned about the lack of a cover letter impacting their approval. Commenters share their experiences, indicating that while it is common to request additional documents, approval is still possible without a cover letter, depending on the specific circumstances of the application.
I didn’t think about a cover letter, but they just will request a motivation letter as they called it and follow up documents. I even only included one month bank statement statements by accident, but then they said send us six. Essentially it’ll just lower your chances of getting approved without additional document request.
My husband applied for medical DTV and got approved without a cover letter. Like you, he thought he could upload the cover letter separately but there wasn't so he only uploaded everything else. They did ask for additional documents but it had nothing to do with a cover letter.
