Hi all, I have a business in Phuket and I’m on an immigration B visa. It was extended until the 26th September but I’m not sure what happens after that? I went to immigration and they said wait for an announcement . I can’t imagine they will let thousands of people leave for two days to get an extension so does anyone know what’s happening?

TLDR : Answer Summary
A business owner in Phuket on a B visa is unsure about what to do after their visa extension expires on September 26th. Experts suggest that the person should either leave the country by that date, apply for a yearly extension in-country, or seek a 30-day embassy request extension for more time.
and we're done. The O/P has their options (limited as they are) and unfortunately whether they like the answers or not, those are indeed the options you have :( Good Luck, take care, stay safe
If I had to bet I'd say you don't have ANY extension until the 26th of Sept and you're on an expired entry stamp which went to amnesty.
IF you have a Non-B visa where you used to bounce in and out every 90 days, you're on amnesty..
Right now your choices are leave the country on or by the 26th of Sept, meet the requirements to get a yearly extension in country at the immigration office OR get the letter from your embassy and apply for a 30 day "embassy request" extension which will take you to Oct 26th.
no, I mean LEAVE as in go back to where you're from. Thailand is closes to entry for most people it is not closed to exit. You can get out of thailand and have been able to since they locked it down.
