Hi all! I just got granted the DTV Visa (horray). The issue is that due to personal circumstances, I am not able to enter on the date that I provided while doing the application, I have to postpone my entry. I have not seen anywhere that there is a expected date for the firsst entry, but I am just asking in order to make sure that I do not lose the visa by not entering on the date I provided. Thank you for your help!

TLDR : Answer Summary
Congratulations on receiving your DTV Visa! There is no specific deadline for your first entry into Thailand after receiving the visa. The important detail is that the visa is valid for five years from the date of approval, so you can choose to enter at any time within that period without worrying about losing your visa.

Its up to you when you enter, tomorrow or say in 4 years! Just remember the 5 year period started from the date they approved your DTV!

Once you have the visa you don't need to enter on any particular time. The visa is good for 5 years
