TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is nearing the end of their single entry Non-B visa and plans to visit Singapore. They are inquiring if they can obtain a re-entry permit at Phuket Airport or if they need to start over at the Singapore embassy. Comments suggest that re-entry can indeed be acquired at the airport, though it’s advised to check with the Phuket Immigration Office beforehand. The re-entry permit is necessary for returning to Thailand and must be acquired before leaving, unless you're applying for an extension of stay.

I've seen mixed reports on getting a re-entry permit on Phuket Airport. Best is to get one at the Immigration Office before you go.

As you're in the last month of your current stay, talk to your employer if they can meet the requirements of an Extension of Stay at Immigration. If yes than start the process, if no that get the documentation and apply for a new Non Immigrant Visa. Or get a re-entry permit, come back into Thailand, get the same Admitted to Stay date and arrange or the Extension of Stay or leave Thailand again after your Singapore visit.

Lastly, the re-entry permit will only let you return and stay up to the current admitted to stay date, no longer. If you wish to stay longer but not work, you could use tourist visas or visa exemptions.

You can do either, as your schedule allows.

Next, what is the basis for the current Non-B and why are you not applying for extension in-country?

You’ll have to wait for someone who is more familiar with Non-B issues to chime in. Maybe

If you have the Non Immigrant B visa and a work permit and your company can meet the requirements of Immigration you can apply for a 1 year Extension of Stay during the last 30 days of your current stay.

Singapore Thai Embassy is on a online application basis. You may not be able to line up with a pre-arranged trip.
