I know this might be a long shot but here goes.
I'm a South African passport holder. I have a SINGLE ENTRY Non-B visa for Thailand. I need to fly to Japan in October (for 1 week) and I've noticed that I need a Visa.
1. Can I apply for a TOURIST visa to Japan in Thailand? If so what will be the procedure? And where?
2. Is it possible to apply for a RE-ENTRY permit without having to go back to South Africa? If so what will be the procedure? And where?

TLDR : Answer Summary
A South African passport holder with a SINGLE ENTRY Non-B visa for Thailand is inquiring about the possibility of applying for a Tourist visa to Japan while in Thailand, as well as the procedure for obtaining a re-entry permit. Responses indicate that she can apply for the Japan visa at the embassy in Thailand and that she can obtain a re-entry permit from the immigration office or at Suvarnabhumi airport to keep her single-entry visa valid.
