Hi,I have a friend who got the tourist visa from Italy embassy for 3 months and he found a work after the 14 days of quarantine, so he will be able to convert his tourist visa to non b one? Or he is gonna to have some trouble?

you got your answers, SEND your friend and a representative from their employer to the immigration office in the area where they will work and see if they can meet the requirements in country or not.

Yes. The list of required documents is long. But IF you provide all of what is requested then there is no particular problem doing this inside the country. This is the list I got handed in Chiang Mai myself for teaching at university.

If he needs to leave Thailand to get Non-B or he can apply in-country non-B (and WorkPermit) depends on his new employer (because not all can meet the requirement to complete in-country process). He needs to talk with his employer and the local immigration office.

Which Non B is your friend needing?

For business or

For teaching?

If your friend has completed quarantine...

then he needs to meet with his employer, get there help in seeking the cooperation with Thai immigration and the Thai Labor Ministry to obtain a work permit and the granting of a Non B visa inside Thailand.

Frankly its not easy to do at this time.

and he has a school wanting to hire him now?

Its very difficult to do inside Thailand.

Thats why in the stranded groups I say Do Not Come without having all the needed items to get the Non B in their home country.

Clearly this one did not listen.
