For anyone who has been asked to go for an interview for the DTV - how long did it take afterwards to get a response (rejection or approval) from the embassy?
Answer summary
Responses from various users indicate that the response time after a DTV visa interview can vary significantly. I had one in Manila. Very relaxed and quite short. I think they really just want to make sure your business is able to work remotely (assuming your applying under workcation) and general questions about why Thailand.
I didn't meet the final month 500k balance so they left my application open until I could supply that final bank statement. So I did that on the 1st and my DTV was approved the same day.
As we know, each embassy operates under their own discretion so it could be very different at another embassy.
If you want any type of response, you are going to have to let people know which embassy you went to. Even then, each case is different and there is nothing to guarantee your case will be handled in the same amount of time as any other. Could be quicker or could take longer.
