What should I do if my visa application in Cambodia is taking too long?

Aug 27, 2025
I applied for my visa at the embassy in Cambodia on August 11th. I'm unsure the turnaround time on applications being processed, but I know some individuals that are still waiting and applied earlier than me.

Of course, the ongoing conflict is likely affecting the time for processing, but when I initially applied, I was told they were open.

I'd rather get my application processed sooner than later, so I'm debating on cancelling it and applying at Jakarta instead.

My concerns:

1. What if it took one more day and they finally decided to review it.

2. What if it takes a long time for them to cancel it.

3. Am I able to have two active DTV applications at once?

I don't really care about the fee, just speed.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user has applied for a visa at the embassy in Cambodia and is experiencing uncertainty regarding the processing time, especially given the ongoing conflict. They are considering canceling their application to apply in Jakarta due to concerns about delays. Key concerns include the possibility of their application being reviewed imminently, the complications involved in canceling the application, and whether holding two active DTV applications is permissible.

Anonymous participant Takes 15-20 business days. Can not have 2 active applications running. You may as well wait until you get approved in PP as you will be likely approved soon.
