Do I need a sworn translator for my criminal record when applying for a DTV visa in Thailand from France?
Hi everyone!
I'm applying for soft power DTV now. I saw the new requirements and thankfully i should be fine, since I am applying from my home country (France).
I however have a question about the criminal record. When I asked for it in France, I had the option to also ask for a translation aide to English, which is somewhat of a glossary.
I am assuming that to apply, I need to translate my criminal record to English. However does anyone know if it is okay to do the translation myself, using the glossary provided by the french ministry of justice platform, or if I need to hire a sworn translator for it? And if you happen to have any insights on applying for DTV from France, I'd love to hear it too!

Tu peux demander ton casier bultin numéro 3 traduit en anglais automatiquement il est inutile de le traduire c'est fait automatiquement quand tu fais ta demande tu peux choisir les langues.......

As the Embassy. For example, the Thai Embassy in Seoul, Korea, only accepted documents in either Thai or English languages, no Korean.

C’est l’avantage de postuler dans l’ambassade de son propre pays. C’est qu’ils parlent normalement la langue locale.

No you don't have to translate anything if you're applying in your home country, unless they say so. The embassy has French speaking staff there.
