Can I get an extension on my 30-day stay in Thailand without doing a border run?
Good morning,
Came in on a 30, extended my stay by another 30. I need another 20 days until my flight out. No chance of getting another extension? Do I really need to do a border run? If yes, any reccomendations? I'm in Phuket, heading to Krabi, have car.

OPUpdate. Went to Phuket, Patong immigration, he sent me to Phuket town, wanted 300 baht to photocopy🤣. They only do the 30 day extension in Patong.
Travelled to Krabi. Got covid extension. Had 2 options, get 15 days then come back for another 45 and pay nothing, or pay 3000 baht get 60 days. No cost for photocopies.

Sidenote, my wife had a 60 day visa did 30 day ext. In/ out 5 minutes

Go for thr covid extension.. bangkok imm office were giving them out easily.. even my country has daily flights to and from thailand... not an issue

You can apply for a covid extension until July 25th. Whether or not they will approve is up to the immigration officer, but you're not out anything for try.
Beware that covid extensions start the day you apply if approved, so you'll lose any days on your existing stay.
