TLDR : Answer Summary
The process of converting a 60-day tourist visa into a NON-B visa as a teacher can be challenging. While it is theoretically possible to do this within Thailand, many find it difficult due to paperwork requirements. A colleague mentioned success in Bangkok with significant effort, but most Bangladeshi expats tend to return to Bangladesh to apply for the NON-B visa at a Thai consulate or embassy. It's essential that your employer assists with the application process, and the decision of whether to convert inside Thailand or to exit the country depends on their arrangements.

My Bangladeshi colleague (teacher) said that it can be done in BKK, but that it is really very difficult to get all the paperwork. He did it in BKK, but he said that 99.9% of Bangladeshis go back to Bangladesh to do it.

Being on a Bangladeshi passport and a tourist visa, I have a feeling the options are limited.

I mean the options for you to simply leave Thailand and enter another country without obtaining a visa for that country in order to complete the process if you needed too. I'm not familiar with what someone on a Bangladeshi passport can and can't do. Your prospective employer should know the process.

You mean Options are limited to convert inside Thailand or not eligible to convert at all??

Your Employer should help you with the application of the Non Immigrant B Visa. It depends on them if you do this inside the country or that you have to visit a Thai Consulate or Embassy.

How can I know that the documents provided are matching with the requirements of Immigration without seeing them. Visit Immigration office in your area, ask them if possible to convert the visa, if yes than ask a hand out with the required documents. Than make sure you have them all and apply for the visa.

thanks dear but employer said visa I have to arrange by myself they will just provide all legal documents required..That's why I am bit worried what to do...If they give all documents and if I have 30days tourist visa left then can I apply ?? It will be a great help if you can let me know..
Robert *******
You need at least 15 days of stay left on your Admitted to Stay and your employer need to meet all the requirements of Immigration. So you really have to discuss this with your employer.
