Guys for DTV I can attend cooking class as I see right? But it just doesn't make sense to me since the cooking class is only for 1 day. Will I still get accepted?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The discussion focuses on whether a one-day cooking class would be sufficient for obtaining a DTV visa in Thailand. Several comments express skepticism regarding the likelihood of approval, emphasizing that embassies have varying requirements and suggesting that longer courses might be necessary for visa approval. Concerns about the authenticity of schools claiming DTV approval and the tightening of visa rules are also mentioned.
I think all this is going to be tightened up over time and there will be one universal standard across all Embassies based on the strictest now. It wonβt be easy.
only Jakarta? How bout vietnam hcmc? Are they fine? If Jakarta asks for 3 months statement then it's impossible for me. I can only show them the end amount .
Is ho chi minh city strict? Have you heart about it
Doubtful that an embassy will accept a 1 day cooking class to give you a 5 year visa. Each embassy sets their own requirements. There have been reports of embassies accepting multiple week classes, some accepting 1-6 months of classes, and some requiring at least 6 months of classes.
There have also been reports of schools claiming they are "DTV approved" which is a blatant lie because each embassy decides what qualifies and what doesn't, not the school. One person even made a post about their embassy rejecting their DTV application when they applied based on a school that claimed to be "DTV approved"
