If you want to use a cooking class for the soft power category for the DTV: does the cooking school have to be certified by the MOE (ministry of education) or is it enough to have a booking confirmation of a multi-week class and the payment slip for it (maybe id and business registration of the owner/company?)? anyone got any experiences with this? Any other documents needed in case of the cooking class route besides the financial proof? preferably applying via eVisa in germany but a thai neighboring country would also be an option. Thanks in advance.

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user inquires whether a cooking school needs to be certified by the Ministry of Education for the DTV visa application and if simple booking confirmation with payment proof is sufficient. Comments suggest alternative activities like Muay Thai classes and mention that some embassies might require a six-month program for visa approvals.
Just go with the Muay Thai classes, EVO360 gym in pattaya talk with Sharon - 6 months 20k Thai baht. Heard some horror stories on cooking classes and prices.
thats a good first advise. do you know if it can be any class/school or do they need to have some certification with the moe? thats what i read in other topics here but i am not sure. most cooking schools dont have that.
my friend did it with cooking institute but he didn't check if it's approved by MOE and he gat the visa by submitting the course papers and the payment
