Can I get a 45-day waiver on reentry at Chiang Kong as an Australian?
As an Australian, can i get a 45 day waiver on reentry at Chiang Kong? I am planning to do a border run to Laos in early January from Chiang Mai at Chiang Kong. I arrived in Chiang Mai on November 1st. I have a 45 day waiver which I hope to get extended by 30 days in December. Does anyone know if i can get another 45 day waiver at Chiang Kong, or is it only 30 days?

the program that increased visa exempt entries from 30 days to 45 days started on Oct 1st 2022 and runs until Mar 31st 2023. You get 45 days entering by air or by land during that time.
