Hello, I'm pleased to have joined this gtoup & hope that someone can help me with a couple of questions.

If I go out of Thailand & return by train can I get a 30 day visa exemption?

Is there a limit to the number of times you can come into Thailand on a 30 day exemption?

Many thanks for any help

TLDR : Answer Summary
You can receive a 30-day visa exemption when entering Thailand at a land border if you're from a visa-exempt eligible country; however, you cannot enter by train, as there is no train service across the Thai border. Additionally, there is a limit of two entries per calendar year using the visa exemption.

There is no train that you can ride across the Thai border.

If you enter Thailand at a land border without a visa and you are from a visa exempt eligible country, you can receive a visa exempt entry stamp giving you 30 days in Thailand.

You can enter at a land border without a visa using visa exempt only 2 times per calendar year. So that means you can only do this 2 times in 2023.
