Hi All,
Just to update for those looking to do the 30 day extension in Bangkok. I was at Laksi this morning, and several people including myself were being asked for the TM30 In one case they actually called the property owner the person put on the form.
I stay in my own house and they also asked for a copy of the proof of ownership, so whilst they may not have asked some people, I would recommend anyone going to Bangkok, have the TM30 vopy prepared, as without it you if asked they will turn you away, as they were doing this morning.
TLDR : Answer Summary
This post provides an update on the requirements for extending a 30-day visa in Bangkok. It emphasizes the necessity of having the TM30 form prepared, especially after experiences where immigration officials requested it and even contacted property owners listed on the form. Additionally, it mentions that TM30 filings must be done at the Chaengwattana Main office, and not at the Laksi immigration office.
