Hi - does a TM30 have to be signed by a landlord or can it be filled out by me alone?

Also, the TM30 link in the Files section of this group is no longer working. Is there an updated link?

This is for an ED visa in Chiang Mai.

Thanks!

TLDR : Answer Summary
The TM30 form can potentially be filled out by an individual without the landlord's signature, but verification with local immigration offices is recommended to confirm specific requirements. It's necessary to have supporting documents from the landlord, such as a photocopy of their Thai ID, blue book for the house, and lease agreement. Additionally, there are active files available for download online for completing the TM30.

If you're interested in self-filing, AND you live in Bangkok, Tod Daniels wrote an excellent post on the process on how to self file:

This may be similar in other immigration offices.

I did mine by myself the other day... I needed a photocopy of landlord Thai id, blue book for house and lease agreement.

There are 70+ immigration offices inside the country, CHECK with your office to see if you can file a TM30 on your own OR what documents you need from your land lord to do it on their behalf.

The TM30 document in the files section opened up a word document for me that I could fill in just fine on my pc. So it is an active file.

Google TM30 Thailand, and I'm sure you'll find other files on the inter-web
