90 REPORT - 2 QUESTIONS

Hi guys, I’ve already been here for 6 months, done my first report in person at the immigration office & left the country at the 6 month mark. I’m now back & I’m just wondering for my second report does anyone know if this can now be done online?

& for my first report i was at a hotel so they filed the necessary documents for immigration but now I’m renting a house, what do i need to ask of my landlord before my report? 🇹🇭🙏🏼
Answer summary
The user asked about the process for their second 90-day report after returning to Thailand, specifically inquiring about the possibility of filing it online. The responses clarified that this would actually be their first report after re-entry, which must be done in person, and highlighted the importance of having the landlord file a TM30 for the residence. Additionally, advice was given about obtaining proof of the TM30 filing and potential fines for delays.

I file my tm30 online myself. all with legal documents... it's so much easier. just need a document to say your landlord gives you permission to do it on their behalf... statutory declaration... easy to find online.

Nope. First report after re-entry must be in person. I wish it could but no.

You need to go in person for the first 90 day report every time after you enter the country. Your landlord will need to have filed a TM30 stating you live at your address, you should get a copy of the receipt for that

It's not your second report it's your first report, because the 90 day clock starts anew with each entry. You'll almost never do a second 90-day report on a DTV unless you did your first report after an entry quite early or you got an in-country extension. And make sure your landlord has filed a TM30 at the address where you live.
