Hi, :) i forgot to do my 90 day report at the immigration, and it's been almost 6 months i've been in thailand. I will soon do the visa run. Should i still get the 90 day report done before i do the visa run, is it a big deal?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The post raises a concern about forgetting to complete a 90-day report in Thailand before a visa run after almost 6 months in the country. Community responses indicate that while it may not be a significant issue immediately, there is a potential fine of up to 2000 baht if immigration officers notice when doing other immigration-related services. Some users suggest proceeding with the visa run but recommend reporting the 90 days after re-entering Thailand. Additionally, it is highlighted that immigration officers at airports typically do not track 90-day reports, hence one might not face issues unless they require services at the local immigration office.

It is not advised to ignore the rules especially you don't know when the bad day can be , According to the law ( Any alien who stays over 90 days and does not notify an official of his residence or does so later than the prescribed time limit must report in person and pay a fine of 2,000 baht. Or if an alien is arrested in any case, a fine of 5,000 baht must be paid.) To avoid unexpected trouble, please follow the rules ka... stay safe in the Kingdom ๐Ÿ™

Not a big deal when you finally do one youโ€™ll be fined 2000 baht

When you leave Thailand, 90-day counting gone reset. So good to go abroad without it and donโ€™t forget to report 90-day next time.

It will never be noticed when you get stamped in. Those officers have nothing to do with 90-day reports.

My friend forgot to do her 90 days and the immigration officer at the airport just reminded her to do it next time. No fine or scolding.

Anonymous participant 166 Immigration at the airport has no visibility whatsoever over your 90 day reporting.

Anonymous participant 592 how do you say this ka ? The report has a code number, that code number is in the immigration system. And immigration officer has an access to the immigration system. If he can see your visa is valid or not related to the passport number , he can as well see your reports which is as well related to your passport number if you look at the report you will see that... If they don't talk to you about it... it doesn't mean that can't if you done it or not ka

90 day reporting is handled at a local level. Immigration officers at airports obviously have no access to this information. There is also no 90 day stamp or onus upon you to carry evidence of having registered.

Anonymous participant 592 There is a 90 days receipt in your passeport... IO will attach it or you'll have to if doing online.
AllSabaai ******
Anonymous participant 592 it is linked to your passport number ka

If they don't bother to ask you about it

It doesn't mean they can't access this information

Actually airport immigration has access to all to be able to stop or track any situation about someone by Passport number ka

If you need services at local immigration office and some eagle-eyed officer notices you missed your 90 report expect a 2000 baht fine. Other than that forget about it for now and report 90 days after your next entry
