I am a British national in Thailand now as a tourist. I have been here since April 30th on a visa-exemption stamp. First I got the 45-day stamp and then a 30-day extension. Then I got the 60-day covid extension on July 12th. It will expire on September 11th. I want to know if in September I can extend it any further? Or will I likely need to leave?

TLDR : Answer Summary
The user, a British tourist currently in Thailand, inquires about the possibility of extending their COVID-19 related visa, which is set to expire on September 11. Responses suggest that as of September 27, extensions for those unable to travel due to COVID may still be available. It is recommended to apply for another 60-day extension as early as 30 days prior to the expiration of the current visa. Comments indicate that travelers should remain cautious and comply with regulations to maintain their stay.
You can apply for another 60-day unable to travel due to covid extension until September 27th. So you're in good shape at the moment. You can apply as early as 30 days before your existing extension expires.
Looking at the current development in the world and how they previously acted I don't think you will be forced to leave. Just make sure you have an exit strategy for that just in case. Yepp don't expect but plan for it.
