TLDR : Answer Summary
The user is inquiring about the possibility of leaving Thailand, specifically crossing into Cambodia or Burma, to renew their single-entry tourist visa that is about to expire. They received various advice from the community regarding visa extensions, potential exit border points, and the necessity of providing more information about their nationality and location for tailored advice. Suggestions include extending the current visa at an immigration office or exiting through less crowded borders for re-entry.

AVOID the Aranyaprathet - Poi Pet border (in Sa Kaeo) DO NOT try to bounce out and back in at that border.

You should be able to use Ban Laem with no issues.

well, depending on your nationality and where you are in the country (which
@Ja***
asked you in the first response but you didn't answer) you might be able to go to a border, stamp out of thailand, stamp in&out of another country and then stamp right back into thailand to get a visa exempt entry stamp.

If you want some suggestions how about stating your nationality and where in thailand you are, or bail on outta here to Vietnam ;)

Thanks Tod. I've done the extension, so looks like Vietnam for me. Very few job opportunities!

Okay, if you entered the country and were stamped in for 60 days on that single entry tourist visa it's over.

You can extend the 60 day stamp by 30 days at the immigration office for 1900baht
