I didn't realize immigration office would be closed today. My US tourist 30 day visa is until June 5.

I want to extend, but I haven't ever extended before and I'm worried it's so last minute.

Should I be panicking and making plans for a visa run? Or am I ok? Advice?

Answer summary

They are worried about the timing and considering a visa run, but community members reassure them that the office will open tomorrow and that they should be able to extend their visa.

Hey folks, thanks for advice. Also, I deserve the sarcasm, I shouldn't be doing this so last minute, it's just plans changed.

Lighten up.....it’s called light hearted banter. It’s not rude or condescending. Don’t be such a baby. I’m sure Kayley took it as it was intended. Enough said.

You could have just written the second sentence, but for some reason it’s common and acceptable for expats to be rude and condescending to each other, first.
